HEARTBREAK HILL CAMPGROUND

Public BBQ

Nestled along the Womerah Range Trail, this remote camping spot serves as a strategic halfway point for multi-day hikers tackling the challenging terrain. The 18-kilometre 4WD-only track from Webbs Creek Road delivers a proper workout for vehicles and riders alike, with fully loaded touring bikes finding the passage particularly demanding. The compact camping area compensates for its size with solid amenities, including a well-appointed camping hut featuring built-in barbecues that eliminate the guesswork from outdoor cooking. Tank water is available on-site, though visitors consistently recommend bringing their own supply - the local water tends to collect bugs and tannin, requiring boiling before consumption.
